Low Cost Underwater Electrical Connectors for Underwater Robotics
Standard circular series rubber underwater connectors are suitable for the market demand in the underwater and harsh environment. This series of connectors have 4 types of different sizes and housing , the maximum contact is 16, the working voltage is from 300V to 600V, the working current is from 5Amp to 15Amp, and the working depth is 7000m. The standard circular connector includes a socket with cable , a panel installing socket and a waterproof seat. It is made of high-grade chloroprene rubber and stainless steel materials. The socket is fitted with a waterproof SOOW flexible cable. The rear of the seat is fitted with a multi-pronged tail line with a Teflon skin. The lock cover is cast with polyformaldehyde resin and used with stainless steel elastic clasp ring.This series of connectors has carried out extensive environmental testing and index testing,connectors can be widely used in marine science, military exploration, marine oil exploration, marine geophysics, nuclear power station and other industries' equipment configurations, and can also be used with the SubConn series of underwater connectors.
